This rod was designed for anglers who were after something that would fish well in deep water, either bait or lure fishing targeting species like Kingfish , Cobia, Snapper, Tuna and light trolling for Dollies and Tuna but could handle a decent marlin or Wahoo that decided to take a stab. We wanted this rod to really stand from the pack while being, comfortable, easy to handle and as always our products need to be durable and right for hot weather climates.
The custom blank is designed with high modules carbon composite that is tapered with a powerful action and paired with Fuji Gold plated Harldloy ring guides and tip with SIC rings that are designed for braid as they have ultimate head resistance properties. The grip is a heavy duty EVA finger grip with Pacific Bay's patented channel lock reel seat. We love this because whether you use a big or small reel it restricts any sideways movement which can occur while your fighting a fish. At the end of it all, we finished it off with an ALPs gold aluminum gimbal which really sets it off nicely
